Who would have thought that one of the most punishing releases in recent years would be by a band whose vocalist has an entire sleeve of tattoos dedicated to Pee Wee’s Playhouse? No “earth shattering breakdowns” or other such tomfoolery here – just abrasive, nasty punk rock played by people who know what they’re doing. If you choose not to snooze on anything this year, do NOT snooze on “Where Fun Goes to Die”.
